Erectile Dysfunction Treatments

ED is part of life for many men. Over half of men over the age of 40 deal with ED or impotence at some point.i Commonly prescribed drugs and supplements fail for about 30% of those men.iii Every man is different, and there’s no one-size fits all solution

That’s why Revibe Men’s Health developed a customized approach to ED treatment.

Our health care providers don’t just pull generic medication out of the warehouse. Our custom, compounded medications allow medical providers to prescribe the exact dosage and delivery mechanism for optimal effectiveness for each man.

There is a difference in shockwave therapies. Renaissance Wave is the gold-standard focused wave therapy for long-lasting, proven results in men suffering from ED and Peyronie’s disease.

Your testosterone levels and keeping them balanced, can be a key performance factor or contributor to issues with erectile dysfunction. You can improve performance, libido, and issues related to ED when your testosterone is in balance.

Tap into your body’s own natural healing potential by drawing from the nutrients and growth factors from your own blood. This treatment has been shown to be effective in treating ED alone, or in combination with medication, wave therapy or TRT.

A Science-Based Approach to
ED Treatment

We believe that the best treatment is tailored and customized. That’s why all of our treatments start with a quick but thorough one-on-one consultation with one of our medical providers. Our providers listen to your challenges, take your history into account, and then develop a customized treatment plan designed to effectively resolve your erectile dysfunction.

Step One

Initial Consultation

You’ll meet with one of our qualified medical providers. You and your provider will discuss your experiences with ED, as well as your history and any related factors.

Unlike other doctor’s offices or men’s clinics, there’s no waiting time at Revibe Men’s Health and the process is confidential.

Step Two

Testing & Treatment Plan

Depending on what your provider finds during your initial consultation, they may recommend additional testing or blood work. Then, they’ll use the data they collected during your consultation along with any available test results to create a treatment plan that’s customized to your needs.

Step Two

Treatment & Monitoring

For most of our patients, their first treatment is successful at resolving their ED quickly and effectively. However, if not, don’t worry. We can offer a range of treatments, and your provider will work with you to find the treatment that’s most effective for you.

Our ED Treatments

While every treatment plan is unique, we’ve found a few specific types of erectile dysfunction treatments that work well in our patients.

Medication that’s dissolved and absorbed under your tongue (sublingual medication) can have a range of benefits over medication that’s swallowed and absorbed through your digestive system.iv Sublingual erectile dysfunction medication tends to be more effective, act faster, and is less likely to be negatively affected by the food you may have eaten, and be more effective in some scenarios.
As men age, they tend to lose 1-2% of their testosterone every year after 30.v Replacing that testosterone can help to improve erectile dysfunction directly,vi as well as provide a range of other benefits, such as increased sexual desire and libido, improved mood and quality of life, development of muscle mass and a reduction in fat deposits. Learn more about testosterone replacement therapy.
For some patients where other treatments don’t work, intracavernosal injections applied to the base of the penis can offer a quick and effective treatment for ED.vii Our clinicians teach patients to perform these injections at home. Intracavernosal injections can produce a long-lasting erection just 7-10 minutes after administering.

Tap into your body’s own natural healing potential by drawing from the nutrients and growth factors from your own blood. This new ED treatment process is intended to help stimulate and accelerate collagen formation, tissue regeneration, and the formation of new vascular networks within the penis. Ask your Revibe health care professional for more information about how this new ED therapy derived from your own blood can rejuvenate damaged and aged penile tissue to improve your performance. We also offer vacuum erection devices to offer alternative and additional drug-free options that fit your lifestyle.

Three Primary Causes of ED

ED can be caused by a range of factors, from psychological, like anxiety or stress, to lifestyle, like smoking or being overweight, to physical, like problems with blood flow in the body.viii, ix, x
GENETIC CAUSES

Your brain plays a big part in the process of getting an erection. It’s no wonder then that things like stress or anxiety can inhibit your ability to get or maintain an erection. Often, the inability to get or maintain an erection can cause men to experience more stress or anxiety, triggering an ongoing cycle.

Erectile dysfunction can be caused by psychological factors like:

  • Stress
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Guilt
  • Low Self-Esteem
  • Lack of Sexual Desire
LIFESTYLE FACTORS IN ED

There’s a clear correlation between many lifestyle factors and erectile dysfunction. Many things that are generally unhealthy for our bodies tend to also inhibit our body’s ability to get and maintain an erection.

Erectile dysfunction can be caused by lifestyle factors such as:

  • Obesity
  • Lack of Exercise
  • Smoking and Tobacco Use
  • Excessive Alcohol Consumption
  • Uncontrolled Diabetes
  • Illegal Drug Use
  • Sleep Disorders
DISEASES & INJURIES THAT CAN CAUSE ED

Erectile dysfunction is also correlated with a range of specific diseases and medical conditions. These can include:

  • Heart Disease
  • Clogged Blood Vessels
  • Diabetes
  • High Cholesterol
  • Some Prescription Medications
  • Treatments for Prostate Cancer or
    an Enlarged Prostate
  • Development of Scar Tissue inside
    the Penis
  • Trauma or Injury to the Penis

FAQs

A sexual dysfunction characterized by the inability to develop or maintain an erection of the penis during sexual performance.

Yes, the terms have the same meaning.

Premature ejaculation is often confused with erectile dysfunction. Premature ejaculation is a condition in which the entire process of arousal, erection, ejaculation, and climax occurs very rapidly, often in just a few minutes or even seconds, leaving both the sexual partner and the one experiencing premature ejaculation unsatisfied. Premature ejaculation may accompany an erection problem such as ED, but PE is generally treated differently.

Erectile dysfunction can result from a problem with the brain, hormones, emotions, nerves, muscles, or blood vessels. Stress and mental health problems can also cause or worsen erectile dysfunction. In most cases, erectile dysfunction is caused by something physical. Common causes include heart disease, clogged blood vessels (atherosclerosis), high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, metabolic syndrome (involving increased blood pressure), high insulin levels, body fat around the waist, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, low testosterone, Peyronie’s disease (development of scar tissue inside the penis), certain prescription medications, tobacco use, alcoholism and other forms of substance abuse, treatments for prostate cancer or enlarged prostate, and surgeries or injuries that affect the pelvic area or spinal cord.

Revibe Men’s Health prescribes customized medications based on each patient’s individual needs. These solutions, which can be taken either sublingually or via intracavernosal injections, enhance the effects of nitric oxide, a natural chemical that your body produces that relaxes the muscles in the penis. This increases blood flow and allows an erection to occur in response to sexual stimulation. ED medications vary in dosage and a patient’s preference about how long his erection will last. Inadequate production of testosterone is not a common cause of erectile dysfunction. However, when ED symptoms do occur due to decreased testosterone production, testosterone replacement therapy may improve the problem.

Yes, the customized medications used by Revibe Men’s Health are successful ED treatment options for most men, even if popular “one-size-fits-all” brand name medications have not worked. Revibe Men’s Health specializes in determining the proper erectile dysfunction treatment at the precise dose that your body needs. The result is that patients who experience occasional or permanent erectile dysfunction are able to gain a full erection with little or no side effects or inconsistent results. Revibe Men’s Health treatment programs commonly restore full sexual function, even in men who have not had an erection in 10-20 years. To find out more about how we can help you, make an appointment today.

There can be side effects during treatment for ED, but they usually don’t last longer than a few hours. Some of these side effects are more likely to occur when higher dosages are used. They include headache, facial flushing and upset stomach. The erectile dysfunction treatment may also briefly cause bluish or blurred vision or sensitivity to light. In rare instances, men taking PDE5 inhibitors (oral erectile dysfunction treatments) reported a sudden decrease or loss of vision, or sudden decrease or loss of hearing. If you experience any of these symptoms, stop taking PDE5 inhibitors and seek medical help immediately. ED medications may cause other side effects besides those listed here.

While many physicians are familiar with erectile dysfunction and its symptoms, Revibe Men’s Health specializes in ED treatment. They have treated thousands of men suffering from ED. Revibe Men’s Health prides itself on a professional, discreet, and confidential environment.

Typically, patients experience restored full function in one office visit, even if a patient has not had an erection in years.
